Embodied Meditation: Beyond Mindfulness, Embodying the Brilliance of Wholeness I've been teaching meditation since the early 70's and no matter the style of meditation one adapts, the first thing meditators experience as they sit there is their never-ending mind chatter. This is not an outcome of the meditation practice, but an indicator that they (their mental and emotional energy bodies) are not anchored in their bodies, but are energetically dissociated floating somewhere above their body. Embodying these aspects of oneself, combined with grounding to the earth and coming fully into the present moment completely changes the dynamics of meditating. When our consciousness is fully present and coherently integrated we are ready to expand our consciousness, engage our heart intelligence and be the brilliant being we were born to be.
